The actor admitted that there were no hard feelings between them. However, he has clarified that in a Twitter statement. He wrote, “Emma Watson did not ‘storm off the set’ and it’s sh***y that the perception is that she did.” The actor further explained the incident as he shared that the scene wasn’t what was orginally scripted.
Seth shared that it was getting improvised and changed drastically. This was not what Emma had agreed to. The actor further explained that the narrative that she was in some way “uncool or unprofessional” is not true. He admitted how he should have communicated the instance better. The actor revealed that he had talked about the scene with the actress on the same night. He described the situation as “sh—y” before he praised her for sharing that she objected it.
He added: “We agreed on her not being in the scene together. I was thrilled for the opportunity to work with her and would be thrilled to get that opportunity again.” The director further apologized and said he was disappointed that it happened. He shared that he wishes he had done more to prevent it.
