Exclusive: Blurring the Line Between Real and Pretend, What Is ‘Purple Hearts’ All About?

If you love Nicholas Sparks and Jojo Moyes’s type of romance and heart-touching stories, you will love this one, too. Adaptation of romance novels is challenging because the filmmaker has to catch the essence of the novel and keep it on screen creatively. The maker should be able to generate a spark in the hearts of the viewers, as did the author. Therefore, it is the filmmaker’s duty to make the movie as authentic as he/she can. Netflix is coming up with one such movie named Purple Hearts.
What is Purple Hearts on Netflix?
Purple Hearts is an upcoming American romance film. The movie is based on a novel of the same name by Tess Wakefield. The story is very much intriguing. An aspiring singer-songwriter, Cassie Salazar, and a Marine, Luke Morrow, fall in love with each other despite having countless hurdles. Here is the trailer of the movie from Netflix.
As the novel inspired the movie, here is a bit about the story from the novel. For their own convenience, a struggling songwriter and a soldier who has a troubled past agree to get married. They both expected nothing from each other after tying the knot by saying “I do”. But as they say, what is meant to happen, will happen. Unexpectedly, the thin line between what is real and what they are pretending gets blurred. And this beautifully smart and remarkable romance turns into a perfect love story.
Now, we have to wait and see how the movie turns out and how much it appeals to the viewers.
The cast and more details about the movie
While we cannot keep calm until the movie comes, here’s something about the cast of the movie. We have Nicholas Galitzine as Luke and Sofia Carson as Cassie. Along with them, Chosen Jacobs, John Harlan Kim, Kat Cunning, Linden Ashby, Anthony Ippolito, and more.
The movie will release on July 29, 2022. Well, we have to wait until we can see whether the stars make a perfect pairing.

The book ignites the sparks in the hearts of the readers, which makes them not put the book down until they have all the answers. It is real and tangible. These are the reviews that the book has gotten.
