Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a little harsh welcome at the Jubilee earlier this weekend. The couple couldn’t be present on the balcony at Buckingham Palace. They got very brief time to spend with the Queen. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have pressure to produce the footage for Netflix as well. And to add to that, the couple faced booing from the crowd present there at the Jubilee celebrations.
Having a $100 million deal with the giant streamer, Netflix wants an answer from Harry and Meghan about the reason behind the boos they got from the people.
Netflix wants an answer from Harry and Meghan
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle kept a low profile at the celebrations in the UK. But when they were leaving the church after the Service of Thanksgiving, the crowd loudly booed the Duke and Duchess. Neil Sean, the royal expert, claims that the cruel reactions to Harry and Meghan surprised them as well. It came as a ‘big shock’ to them.
The royal commentator spoke via his YouTube channel that the heads of Netflix, Spotify, and Penguin Random House want answers about the treatment. All these companies have a deal with Harry and Meghan. He astonishingly says, “As members of the Royal Family, you are used to being warmly welcomed at events, and any protests or unwelcome reactions are controlled by the police.” Well, you cannot control the crowds, can you?

He says when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex went back to the USA; they worried about the reception they would get back there. Also, it worried them that the authorities of the companies, as they knew, would ask for answers about the boos and where exactly they came from. It is understandable that these reactions would make them feel they are not as loved as they thought they were. However, it’s not that the people hate the couple in the UK entirely.

Due to this harsh reaction, Meghan and Harry cut their trip short and didn’t attend the following ceremonies. This was the first event Harry and Meghan attended in two years. But it didn’t give them much.
However, via this visit, they introduced the little Lilibet to the Royal Family and the Queen, even for a brief period that they met.
