Exclusive: MY EVERYDAY BASICS

#EVERYDAY #BASICS
Every few months I like to give a little update on the items I have been wearing on repeat. Each update post features new favorites while also highlighting the pieces that continue to make the list time and time again! If you are looking for more of my fashion picks for the season you can see my spring edit here, accessories edit here, and all my favorite dresses here!
SUMMER SANDALS // If you follow me on Instagram you know I have been wearing these sandals on repeat. They are ultra comfortable and I love how they are interesting and versatile. I ended up purchasing them in both black and pink (deeply considering the white if I can track down my size) and have found that they run TTS.
AN EASY TANK // In this post I talked about how I was in search of new tanks for spring. I want something substantial enough to be worn alone tucked into a cute printed skirt or to layer under my favorite lightweight jackets. I ordered A BUNCH and overall this tank was the winner. It has excellent rib tension, is thick enough so as not be sheer, and I love the deep scoop shape! Plus, you simply can’t beat the price point.
MY GO TO DENIM // These have been mentioned before, but this slim-straight fit (I prefer the 9” cut) is IT. I now own them in charcoal, white, and two denim washes and simply can’t get enough. They look great with easy flat, a chic pump, and even statement sandals.
CHIC SHADES // These shades are the best quality for the price. At under $75, and available in an array of colors (see black here, brown here, and classic tort here) they are the perfect accessory for the summer season. I own them in both black and this cool milky brown. 10/10 highly recommend!
SUMMER SHORTS // You can see some of my summer shorts recommendations here, but I would have to say that these shorts are the ones I find myself reaching for time and time again. I love the wash, the higher rise, and the length!
TIMELESS TOTE // If you are looking for a timeless, yet not basic beach bag I would highly suggest this one. When I am looking for a beach bag for the season I want something that is functional but also gets use beyond the beach. I have worn this to the beach, pool, etc. but also dressed it up for nights out.
LOAFER LOVE // These have made the list quite a few times, but since they are still my reining go to loafer, I wanted to highlight them again! They are comfortable, come in so many great colors, and have held up very nicely. They are a bit narrow, especially in the toe box, so if you have wide feet, sadly these may not be the best fit.
ONE PIECE WONDER // I LOVE a good one piece and this suit is my current favorite. It comes in so many amazing colors (here, here, here and here) and is also available in long torso – which I need!! It is flattering, fits true to size, and looks awesome back to a wrap skirt as a cover up.
BASIC BUTTON UP // Living in Florida, the heat and humidity this time of year is no joke. I love this top because it is so lightweight and breathable, while also keeping me looking put together. It is also a great option to pack for vacation as the gauze pattern means no need to steam!
