r Britney Spears and Sam Asghari are married.

The couple officially tied the knot in a ceremony at the singer’s mansion in Thousand Oaks, California, on Thursday evening (Friday afternoon AEST), while surrounded by 60 of their closest friends and family.

According to People, the bride walked down the aisle to Elvis Presley’s hit ballad ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ while famous faces, such as Madonna, Drew Barrymore, Paris Hilton and her mother, Kathy Hilton, watched on.

Photos released exclusively to Vogue, show the happy bride and groom cosying up for the camera and give a glimpse into the couple’s big day – including a carriage pulled by white horses outside their Los Angeles home.

The five shots released to the fashion magazine include a look at the bride’s sleek, off-the-shoulder custom Versace gown, complete with thigh-high split and paired with a classic white veil featuring satin edging. The groom also donned Versace for the big day.

The images were snapped by Kevin Ostajewski, who recently photographed Paris Hilton’s nuptials.

It’s reported the couple left the wedding in a car, which was surrounded by their guests holding sparklers, before the revellers returned to the party inside after the bride and groom drove off.

People who did not make the guest list are Spears’ parents Jamie and Lynne and her sister, Jamie Lynn, as they grew estranged in the lead-up to her conservatorship battle.

But Spears was not going to let family drama ruin her big day – a day she has been planning since she got engaged last September.

“Britney started planning and dreaming about her wedding shortly after she got engaged in November,” a source told the magazine. “It’s a huge deal to her that she is finally able to get married. She wants it to be perfect.”

The singer also knew from the start that she wanted to wear Versace on her big day. In November, Spears announced that she had chosen her longtime friend and designer Donatella Versace to make her wedding dress.

“Donatella Versace is making my dress as we speak,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.

According to E! News, Spears wore an “off-the-shoulder cap sleeve and a deep V-shaped slit in the leg”.

Her dream day was almost ruined after her first ex-husband, Jason Alexander dramatically crashed the wedding preparations.

Armed with a mobile phone, he invited himself onto Spears’ property before entering her home and livestreaming his actions the entire time.

“Where’s Britney? I’m Jason Alexander, her first husband,” he told security as ventured insidde the wedding tent. “I’m here to crash the wedding, bro.”

After claiming Spears invited him to the wedding, he was then tackled by security before police officers showed up and took him away.

Spears was also married to her backup dancer Kevin Federline in 2004. That marriage ended in divorce in 2007, but the couple welcomed two children during their union: Sean, 16, and Jayden, 15.

Both of her children were sadly absent from the ceremony with Federline’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan telling TMZ: “Although the boys will not be in attendance, Kevin and the boys are happy for Britney and wish her and Sam all the best going forward.”

Powerhouse singer Adele stopped mid-way through a song to help a fan during her performance on Friday night.

While performing her hit-song ‘Skyfall’, Adele spotted a struggling fan in the crowd at London’s Hyde Park. She stopped singing and immediately called for assistance.

“Stop, stop, stop. I need security’s help,” she said. “Right in the middle there, can you see where they’re waving?” Watch above.

The British singer asked people in the crowd to make way for the help team and was met with applause and cheers from the audience.

Adele then watched security make its way to the fan, and as soon as she could see they were okay, she headed straight back into performance mode.

“Right, let’s start again,” she told the audience.

The entire situation took less than one minute to resolve. Adele’s response was met with praise from her live audience, and online commenters after a video was uploaded onto Twitter.

“Love her,” said one Twitter user. Another commented, “What Travis should’ve done,” in reference to the 2021 Astroworld Festival incident.

During Travis Scott’s performance, at the music festival in November of last year, the extremely packed audience pit began to push forward, which led to a fatal crowd crush and killed 10 people.

LOS ANGELES - OCTOBER 24: CBS revealed an extended preview and first look of the exclusive Oprah interview in ADELE ONE NIGHT ONLY, a new primetime special that will be broadcast Sunday, Nov. 14 (8:30-10:31 PM, ET/8:00-10:01 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+. Scott started and stopped his show a few times to address some crowd members, but was largely criticised for not doing enough. Members of the audience were chanting for him to stop the entire set, but the show continued for another half hour.

He was met with fierce backlash in the aftermath of the tragedy, and many took to Twitter with examples of artists like Adele and Billie Eilish efficiently addressing crowd issues to highlight Scott’s culpability in the Astroworld casualties.

Adele’s 2017 concert at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium was the biggest single concert in Australian history with more than 100,000 attendees.

Though she has recently discussed returning, the popstar currently has no concrete plans to tour Australia.
